The "Toonami/Jak II" Sweepstakes was a sweepstakes held by Cartoon Network's Toonami block that began on Monday, September 8, 2003 and ended on Friday, September 26, 2003. To enter, participants were instructed to watch the Toonami broadcast, from 5:00-7:00 PM, on two successive Fridays (September 19th and September 26th) and call the toll-free number given during commercial breaks. Each week 250 2nd prize winners were selected at random from the pool of entrants and received a copy of Jak II for the PlayStation 2. 15 grand prize winners were also chosen at random, each week, from the pool of entrants and received a PlayStation 2 game console and a copy of Jak II.

Prizes

• 30 grand prize winners (15 a week) received a PlayStation 2 (PS2) game console and a copy of Jak II for the PS2
• 500 2nd prize winners (250 a week) received a copy of Jak II for the PS2

• This sweepstakes was sponsored by Sony.
• This sweepstakes was open to all legal residents of the United States, over the age of 13, except residents of Florida.
• The approximate market value (AMV) of the grand prize was $249.98.
• This was the second of two Toonami sweepstakes to feature a game from the Jak and Daxter franchise. The first Jak and Daxter sweepstaes featured Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
• The promo for this sweepstakes features original animation of Jak and TOM racing on what TOM calls "The Toonami Holodeck".
• The phone number used for this sweepstakes was 1-800-566-1600.
• Jak II was released in North America on October 14, 2003.
• The tie-in game for the IGPX micro series, Toonami's fourth Total Immersion Event, which aired on Toonami from September 15-19, 2003, was sponsored by Jak II.
