Meanwhile Cheetor discovers an Energon vein running between both bases.

After being led into a trap and losing a stasis pod to the Predacons, Dinobot accuses Rattrap of working with the Predacons. When Rattrap is beaten by Terrorsaur in battle, he surprises all by not only begging for mercy but swearing allegiance to the Predacons, but is Rattrap really a traitor?

Are the Maximals stranded for good?

Tarantulas and Blackarachnia team up to obtain the newest stasis pod. The pod births Inferno, a deranged Predacon who believes himself to be an ant rather than a robot. While Blackarachnia works with Inferno, Tarantulas takes the true prize he desired: the stasis pod. Maximal Tigatron manages to destroy the pod Tarantulas has taken, but finds himself trapped by the spiders and Inferno.
