Kids' WB! Toonami was a short lived Toonami programming block that ran from July 30, 2001 to June 28, 2002. The Kids' WB! version of Toonami was, more or less, the Kids' WB! lineup with the Toonami name. The Kids' WB! Toonami block aired Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It was critically panned by industry observers and fans alike, who noticed the action branding of the block did not translate content wise, which had added non-action shows like Scooby-Doo and Detention.

While the cross promotion between Cartoon Network and Kids' WB! did allow for series to be shared between the networks, most of these only lasted a short period of time. This included Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon appearing on Kids' WB! Toonami for two weeks and Cardcaptors appearing on Cartoon Network's Toonami for two weeks.

The Kids' WB! version of Toonami featured the Absolution, TOM, and SARA, but TOM (usually voiced by Steve Blum) never spoke.

In spring 2002, Kids' WB! announced that they would drop the Toonami name from their weekday lineup, once again making the Toonami brand exclusive to Cartoon Network.
