The "Titan A.E. Giveaway" Sweepstakes was a sweepstakes held by Cartoon Network's Toonami block that began on Monday, June 12, 2000 and ended on Monday, June 19, 2000. To enter, participants were instructed to log on to either toonami.com or cartoonnetwork.com and submit an online entry form.
175 2nd prize winners were selected at random from the pool of entrants and received a Titan A.E. t-shirt and a Titan A.E. poster. 140 1st prize winners were also selected at random from the pool of entrants and received a copy of the Titan A.E. soundtrack and a "demo disk" of the Titan A.E. video game for the PlayStation game console. 1 grand prize winner was also randomly selected from the pool of entrants and received a private screening of the film for him/herself and 50 of his/her friends.[1]

- If the grand prize winner was a minor, 1 of the "50 friends" attending the private screening had to be the winner's parent or legal guardian.
- The film, Titan A.E., was released on June 16, 2000.
- Titan A.E. was a flop at the box office, losing the studio anywhere from $50–100 million.[2]
- Due to the huge loss, the film also effectively shut down Fox Animation Studios.[2]
- The Titan A.E. video game was ultimately cancelled before its release due to the poor box office performance of the film.[3]
