The GPS (Ghost Planet Spaceship) Absolution Mk. III was the 3rd incarnation of the Absolution of Toonami, used from April 27, 2013 to December 12, 2015.

It was piloted by TOM 5 and SARA v3. It was announced at the Momocon Q&A Panel on March 26, 2013, and the Toonami Staff said it would debut sometime in April and that it would be the smallest Absolution to date. The Absolution Mk. III was also hyperspace capable as shown by the Month of Movies in 2013.

In terms of relative size, the Mk. III is half the size of the Absolution Mk. II, or as approximated by Toonami co-creator Jason DeMarco, "half the size of a football field." Apart from the main control room, there was also a media chamber used for video game reviews. In The Intruder II, it was revealed that the Mk. III had a shield generator and weapons capabilities (2 laser cannons).

The destruction of the Absolution Mk

In the T.I.E. (total immersion event), The Intruder II, TOM sacrificed the Mk. III to get payback for SARA's death. TOM left the Mk. III, went into the Intruder's ship, and caused a core overload. This caused the Intruder's craft to catastrophically explode, destroying the Mk. III and the Intruder along with it.

Media Chamber[]

The Media Chamber debuted on November 29, 2014. Toonami was able to produce the chamber thanks to money received through an endorsement with Microsoft, to promote their video game Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The Media Chamber was then used for all subsequent video game reviews until the Mk. III was destroyed during The Intruder II.

The chamber housed 15 video screens total. On one wall there were 4 screens with 1 extra large screen in the middle (for a total of 5). On the opposite wall there were 2 rows of 4 screens (for a total of 8). In certain shots of the room, 2 screens could be seen in the background. There was also a control panel that came out of a platform in the middle of the room. During reviews, TOM stood on the platform facing the wall with the extra large screen. SARA could also appear on any screen in the room.
