Power to the People

Power to the People was a special viewers choice poll on Toonami.com, through which Toonami viewers were able to vote for one of four former Toonami series that they would like to see back on the block. Fans could vote for their choice during the week of July 2-6, 2001, and the show that got the most votes would be aired in the 5:30 PM time slot beginning on Monday, July 16, 2001.^[1]^[2] The four series up for vote were: Batman: The Animated Series, Outlaw Star, ReBoot and Superman: The Animated Series.

Outlaw Star ultimately won the week-long vote, with a total of 102,100 votes, and had another run on Toonami from July 16, 2001 to August 17, 2001.
