Season 1 (2003)[]

Season one aired over a period of four months between July 19, 2003 and November 11, 2003 on Cartoon Network. The story arc of the first season focuses on Robin's obsession with stopping the crime lord Slade, while enduring horrible mind games created by the villain. Robin's conflict with Slade culminates in the 2-part season finale "Apprentice".

These episodes were released on The Complete First Season DVD on February 7, 2006. The First Season was released to Blu-ray on January 23, 2018 as part of the Warner Archive Collection.

The super-villain training academy known as H.I.V.E. Academy presents three of its finest cadets - Jinx, Mammoth, and Gizmo - for their first mission: to beat the Teen Titans. They succeeded in two attacks, in which Robin - the group's leader - goes missing in the aftermath of the first, and the second forces the Rest of the Group - Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy from their home of Titan's Tower. Will they be able to take back the tower?
02 "Sisters" Blackfire & Centauri Police July 26, 2003[2] Unaired
Starfire is suddenly attacked by an alien device sent to capture "the tamaranian girl". After a victory against it, the Titans go back home, to find Starfire's sister Blackfire. Starfire feels that she is being replaced by Blackfire as a Teen Titan. So she goes to the rooftop to leave when Robin tells her to stay. After being captured by Centauri moon police, she realizes that they wanted Blackfire the whole time, and that her sister intended for Starfire to take her place in jail. Starfire refuses to take anymore and soon a fight ensues.
03 "Divide and Conquer" Slade, Cinderblock, & Plasmus August 2, 2003[3] Unaired
The episode opens with a shot of a maximum security jail. A stone monster named Cinderblock has broken in. The Titans' attempt to stop Cinderblock from breaking into prison goes awry when Robin and Cyborg's "Sonic Boom" tag-team maneuver backfires and Cinderblock escapes with a quarantined villain, Plasmus. A fierce argument between Robin and Cyborg ensues, and causes Cyborg to announce his decision to quit the team. The rest of the team battle Plasmus and eventually Cyborg returns to help defeat Plasmus and CinderBlock. The end of the day leaves the team with a burning question in mind: who was behind all this?
04 "Forces of Nature" Thunder, Lightning, & Slade August 16, 2003[4] Unaired
The two teenage brothers Thunder and Lightning roam the town looking for fun. Unfortunately, their idea of fun is wrecking everything in sight, regardless of those being injured in the process. Meanwhile, after a prank intended for Cyborg is accidentally pulled on Starfire, Beast Boy has to deal with earning Starfire's forgiveness while keeping Thunder and Lightning under control.
05 "The Sum of His Parts" Mumbo & Fixit August 23, 2003[5] Unaired
While playing football in the park, Cyborg suddenly shuts down. After rebooting, he tells the other Titans that his batteries are dying and requires recharging, but doesn't get the chance, because the nefarious Mumbo is causing havoc in Jump City. While facing him down, Cyborg's emergency batteries die, and his inert body falls down into the underground depths of a junkyard. The Titans believe Mumbo has kidnapped him, but he has instead been found by a strange machine called Fixit, who doesn't share Cyborg's views of humanity. Instead, he believes it to be a flawed part of Cyborg's biology- one that he intends to correct, with or without Cyborg's consent.
06 "Nevermore" Trigon & Dr. Light August 30, 2003[6] Unaired
During a battle with Dr. Light, Raven loses control of her powers, which makes the other Titans worried. Later, Beast Boy and Cyborg sneak into Raven’s room and Beast Boy discovers a strange-looking mirror, which sucks him and Cyborg into an alternate realm where they meet different parts of Raven's personality. Unbeknownst to them, they've stumbled upon a portal into Raven's mind, where extremely terrifying thoughts and threats are waiting for them deep within.
07 "Switched" Puppet King September 6, 2003[7] Unaired
The Puppet King traps the souls of Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy and takes control of their bodies. While trying the same on Starfire and Raven, he fails, but their souls switch into each other's bodies. They'll have to learn how to use each other's powers and work together to save their friends before the Puppet King enacts a wicked ceremony that will destroy them.
08 "Deep Six" Trident September 13, 2003[8] Unaired
A mysterious new villain called Trident appears and starts stealing nuclear waste from ships. The Titans go to investigate and meet a new hero, Aqualad, that teams up to help them fight Trident. Unfortunately, while Starfire and Raven fawn over his looks, Beast Boy and Aqualad start to fight about who is better.
09 "Masks" Slade September 20, 2003[9] Unaired
The Titans soon discover that Slade - the villain responsible for Plasmus' escape and the H.I.V.E students - is up to his old tricks, and that he's after some new technology. Robin isolates himself more and more from the team. Out of nowhere a new villain appears, and goes by the name Red-X. He knows all the titans' weaknesses and takes them down in a clean sweep. However he also saves Beastboy from being hit by a train, and that causes some suspicion. Red-X steals all the computer chips Slade wants. Red-X, however, has flaws in his plan to gain the trust of Slade, like how he has the same personality as Robin.
10 "Mad Mod" Mad Mod September 27, 2003[10] Unaired
Mysteriously ambushed and knocked out cold, the Titans wake to find themselves in the hands of Mad Mod who has decided that the Titans are misbehaving children who need to go back to school. He says he'll teach them a lesson they won't forget, a lesson which includes hypnosis, brainwashing, and dangerous school materials.
11 "Apprentice, pt. I" Slade & Cinderblock October 4, 2003[11] Unaired
Slade threatens to use a Chronoton Detonator, a device which can destroy the entire city if triggered by freezing time forever. Robin goes after Slade, and learns Slade's true plans. The detonator was just a front for something much darker, and it now threatens the rest of the team from the inside out, unless Robin agrees to Slade's every command.
12 "Apprentice, pt. II" Slade October 11, 2003[12] Unaired
Robin is blackmailed into becoming Slade's apprentice, or lose his friends at the push of button. Shocked that their friend is now fighting against them, the rest of the Titans work to discover the underlying details behind Robin's sudden change of heart. However, when the truth comes out, Slade forces his hand and leaves Robin backed into a corner, but not helpless. Refusing to let Slade destroy his friends, he does the unthinkable.
13 "Car Trouble" Overload, Cash, Sammy, & Gizmo November 11, 2003[13] Unaired
Cyborg has finally finished his 'baby', the T-Car. But after a battle with Overload his car disappears. It ends up in the hands of two punks called Cash and Sammy, and eventually Gizmo, then Overload, the last of which forces Cyborg to make a painful choice.

Season 2 (2004)[]

Season two aired over a period of seven months between January 10, 2004 and August 21, 2004. The story arc of the second season focuses on the new and sixth Teen Titan member Terra, while highlighting the romantic relationship between her and Beast Boy. Terra's ultimate betrayal and redemption, along with her battle with Beast Boy and the other Teen Titans, occur in the two-part season finale "Aftershock".

These episodes were released on The Complete Second Season DVD on September 12, 2006.

Starfire is trying to commemorate the Tamaranian holiday Blorthog, a festival of friendship, but is disheartened at the sight of the rest of the team at each other's throats. It only gets worse when Warp, a villain from the future, comes back in time to steal an antique. The Titans are defeated, but Starfire chases after Warp when he prepares to leap ahead to the next century. She gets thrown through Warp's time portal but tears off a vital component of his suit, stopping Warp's lurch through time - but not soon enough. Starfire finds herself 20 years into the future - a very bleak one where the Titans have gone their separate ways since her disappearance.
15 02 "Every Dog Has His Day" Soto January 17, 2004[15] Unaired
Being ignored by his busy teammates, Beast Boy feels lonely, so he wanders the town eventually turning into a green dog. To his surprise he crashes into another green dog that is being pursued by a flying saucer. The saucer picks Beast Boy up mistaking him for the real thing. On board the saucer, Beast Boy meets Soto, the dog's owner, an alien who acts all of two years old- and throws vicious tantrums aplenty. Beast Boy tries to makes his escape before Soto takes off for his home planet, but it's not as easy as he thought it would be. Meanwhile, the other Titans have noticed Beast Boy has gone missing, and end up chasing Soto's dog, believing it to be their teammate.
16 03 "Terra" Slade January 24, 2004[16] Unaired
The Titans meet a young girl named Terra, who has power over the earth itself. At first she seems like she'll be a great addition to the team, but Terra has a secret and only Slade knows the truth.
17 04 "Only Human" Atlas January 31, 2004[17] Unaired
When Cyborg beats a 100% robot named Atlas in an online video game, he challenges Cyborg to a real, physical fight, a fight Cyborg loses due to Atlas having lesser limits on his strength. Atlas then kidnaps Robin, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy as his prize and challenges Cyborg to a rematch with his friends’ lives on the line.
18 05 "Fear Itself" Control Freak February 7, 2004[18] Unaired
After taking down Control Freak, the Titans watch a scary movie. After the Titans finish watching it, strange, terrifying things start to happen at Titan Tower. The creatures from the movie begin to show up and Raven's powers somehow don't work. When the Titans begin to disappear one by one, they are forced to wonder if Control Freak is out for revenge or if something much more inexplicable is going on?
19 06 "Date with Destiny" Killer Moth, Kitten, & Fang February 14, 2004[19] Unaired
In order to protect the city from an army of moths, Robin has no choice but to agree to the villain Killer Moth's demand: to take his daughter, Kitten, to her prom. He is followed by a very jealous Starfire and Kitten's ex.

Starfire wakes up one day to discover a huge lump on her forehead. Terrified, she consults Raven, who dismisses it as a zit. Starfire is relieved, until she notices more changes, including tusks on her neck, long, dirty nails, and scale-like skin. Believing she is turning into a monster, she leaves and takes refuge in space. She meets a charming, kindhearted alien who dispels her fears, but this alien isn't all she appears to be.
21 08 "Titan Rising" Slade February 28, 2004[21] July 10, 2004
Terra reappears, and is ready to join the team. She must now prove herself to the Titans, especially Raven, who has her suspicions. Not long after she returns, Slade also reemerges to wreak havoc on Jump City once more and plots to bury Titan Tower with his robotic worms.
22 09 "Winner Take All" Master of Games March 6, 2004[22] July 17, 2004
During a fierce card game in the Tower, Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy are zapped to another dimension, along with Speedy, Hot Spot, Gizmo, Aqualad, and Wildebeest. Here they meet the Master of Games, who announces that they are invited to a battle tournament to decide who is the greatest warrior of all time. Cyborg however soon starts to suspect the tournament of being more than what the Master of Games tells them.
23 10 "Betrayal" Slade July 31, 2004[23]
After a few weeks with the Titans, Terra is really starting to fit in. Trusting his heart, Beast Boy asks Terra out on a date, and she accepts, much to his elation- but everything's not as perfect as it seems. Slade crashes their date and unveils that Terra has been hiding her true allegiance all this time.
24 11 "Fractured" Johnny Rancid August 7, 2004[24]
During a chase with the villain Johnny Rancid on the R-cycle, Robin breaks his arm, the R-cycle is wrecked and Rancid gets away. Robin is blaming himself for Rancid's escape when suddenly an inter-dimensional version of himself called "Nosyarg Kcid" (Dick Grayson spelled backwards) (aka Larry) bursts out from his skull. Soon, reality warping antics ensue, much more so when Rancid finds a way to harness Larry's powers for himself.
25 12 "Aftershock, pt. I" Slade, Terra, Plasmus, Overload, & Cinderblock August 14, 2004[25]
Terra returns- but now following under Slade with a totally uncharacteristic and horrifying desire for vengeance. The Titans must now stop three escaped criminals, and their former comrade turned enemy.
26 13 "Aftershock, pt. II" Slade, Ternion, & Terra August 21, 2004[26]
With the Titans seemingly gone, Slade has taken control of the city, but the Titans don't go down so easily. They unleash payback on Terra for trying to do them in, which leaves her feeling broken up inside more than ever before. Regretting every action since her betrayal, she begs Beast Boy to finish her off- before Slade takes control of the situation himself and causes a horrific and saddening fate that leads to his own demise- and leaves Terra a petrified statue.

Season 3 (2004)[]

Season three aired over a period of five months between August 28 2004 and January 22, 2005. The story arc of the third season focuses on Cyborg's difficulty accepting his own maturity, and his desire to lead his own team, which brings him into conflict with the Teen Titans. The season also focuses on his battles with the supervillain Brother Blood. Cyborg's desires for leadership and his final battle with Brother Blood are explored in the season finale "Titans East".

These episodes were released on The Complete Third Season DVD on April 10, 2007.

The Titans send Cyborg undercover as Stone to investigate the HIVE's newest plan. Cyborg finds out that a new headmaster, Brother Blood, is now in charge of the academy, with a whole slew of nasty plots underway to unleash terror.
28 02 "X" Red X & Professor Chang September 4, 2004[28]
The Titans investigate a break-in by an unknown intruder. Much to the group's surprise, the thief is Robin's (retired) criminal alter-ego, Red X. As the team scrambles to track him down, Robin broods on how the creation of Red X was a mistake, and resolves to fix it by bringing the new Red X down. Things take an unexpected turn when Professor Chang, a scientist and weapons dealer, captures the other Titans and prepares to unleash a doomsday weapon on the city, forcing a team-up between Robin and Red X to stop him. Can this unlikely alliance save the city?
29 03 "Betrothed" Blackfire September 11, 2004[29]
Starfire is called to her home planet of Tamaran to be married by order of the Grand Ruler, only to find Blackfire is now in charge after staging a coup, and is now exacting revenge on her sister for imprisonment by making her wed a hideous alien groom or face a planetary invasion force. Robin becomes extremely jealous of the Sklerch she is marrying, named Glrdsklechhh, and the Titans soon discover that the invasion is a fraud and Blackfire has a more selfish motive for marrying off her sister. Starfire refuses to marry him during the ceremony, and challenges Blackfire for the crown of Tamaran.
30 04 "Crash" Virus September 18, 2004[30]
Beast Boy wants to play a video game, and tries to do so on the computers in Titan Tower, with little success. He unwittingly attempts to use Cyborg's System Recharger and accidentally downloads a virus onto it, which transfers to Cyborg and makes him hallucinate, giving him an insatiable appetite. The Titans reluctantly enlist Gizmo to help vanquish the virus, but the viral program's one of the most tenacious kinds ever made.
31 05 "Haunted" Slade & Cinderblock October 2, 2004[31]
Ever since Slade disappeared, Robin has been questioning whether or not he is really gone. However, when Cinderblock breaks out of jail, Robin begins seeing Slade again. However, the problem is that he is the only one who can. Has Slade actually returned, or is there something sinister messing with Robin's head?
32 06 "Spellbound" Malchior & Kardiak October 9, 2004[32]
Raven is isolating herself from the other Titans, feeling that no one understands her and that they only regard her as being "creepy". One day, she discovers the ancient soul and spirit of a teenaged wizard named Malchior, who is trapped within one of her mystical books. He appears to understand her and encourages her to not feel down about being different, making her happier and more cheerful. Raven falls in love with him and she decides to break the exceptionally strong and powerful curse which binds him to the book. However, Malchior is not everything he appears to be.
33 07 "Revolution" Mad Mod October 16, 2004[33]
It's the Fourth of July and everyone in Jump City is celebrating, until Mad Mod crashes the party and uses his hypno-screens to hypnotize everyone into serving him as "King Moddy the First" and transforms the city's infrastructure into strange copies of British buildings, claiming that the United States now belong to Britain again. When the Titans go after him, he steals Robin's youth with his cane, turning the leader of the Teen Titans into a gray-haired and weak old man, and the rest of the team has to rescue him while facing down the belligerent Brit's army.
34 08 "Wavelength" Brother Blood October 23, 2004[34]
Aqualad appears at the Tower to warn the Titans about Brother Blood's latest weapon: a sonic generator based on Cyborg's blueprints, capable of creating a tidal wive large enough to destroy the city. However, Blood is prepared for their arrival and trashes the T-Sub, making their escape that much harder. Luckily, another teen hero is playing double agent from within the H.I.V.E. and is more than ready to lend a hand in bringing down Blood.
35 09 "The Beast Within" Adonis October 30, 2004[35]
After a battle with Adonis, Beast Boy gets flung into a stash of mutating chemicals and doused with the toxic substance. Shortly afterward, his behavior drastically changes. No longer is he a happy-go-lucky joker, but a short-fused and menacing punk who has it in for Raven after she rubs him the wrong way, which makes the team fearful that Beast Boy will attempt to attack them. when Raven and Beastboy go M.I.A. The other Titans find Raven, but in the teeth of a werewolf-like beast. When the monster is revealed to be Beastboy, he can't remember anything that happened and runs away. Will the Teen Titans be able to bring him back before it's too late, or is something else lurking in the dark?
36 10 "Can I Keep Him?" Killer Moth & Johnny Rancid November 6, 2004[36]
After defeating Johnny Rancid, the Titans return to the Tower only to find it half destroyed. It turns out Beast Boy has taken one of Killer Moth's silkworms as a pet and has named him Silkie. To stop Silkie from being discovered, Beast Boy gives him to Starfire who immediately falls in love with the adorable critter. However, when she feeds him alien food from her home planet Tamaran, he grows dramatically in size and it becomes impossible to hide him in the tower any longer. When the jig is up, Robin makes her part ways with Silkie- which allows Killer Moth to retrieve his long-lost larva and turn it into the savage insect he engineered it to be.
37 11 "Bunny Raven... or... How to Make A Titananimal Disappear" Mumbo January 8, 2005[37]
When trying to stop The Amazing Mumbo, the Titans are sucked into his hat and Raven is separated from the rest of the group. However, when they find her, they discover that Raven has been transformed into a rabbit. Soon after, Mumbo changes the rest of the Titans into animals: Robin, a monkey; Starfire, an orange and black striped cat; Cyborg, a bear wearing an endless number of tutus; and Beast Boy, a lamp (retaining his ability to shapeshift, but restricted to inanimate objects), after Mumbo learns turning him into an animal is pointless. The Titans must think of a way to defeat Mumbo, otherwise they will disappear forever after Mumbo's grand finale.
38 12 "Titans East, pt. I" Brother Blood & SteamRoller January 15, 2005[38]
A new branch of the Titans is founded to help track down Brother Blood. Bearing the name Titans East, it consists of Bumblebee, Speedy, Aqualad, and the super fast Guatemalan twins Más y Menos. Cyborg goes to assist in building the Titans East Tower when Brother Blood suddenly shows up. A large battle ensues with an army of robots based on Cyborg's specs, which stuns Cyborg. Fortunately, the team emerges victorious- but in reality, Blood's been pulling more strings than Cyborg was aware of...
39 13 "Titans East, pt. II" Brother Blood, Professor Chang,
Aqualad, Bumblebee, Speedy,
& Mas y Menos

To Cyborg's shock, the Titans East reveal that they are under Brother Blood's mind control. Brother Blood then himself reappears with some shocking changes: he is now half robot, having used Cyborg's technology on himself, and with plans to repeat the procedure on some guinea pigs- namely, the Titans East. Cyborg barely manages to escape, and he calls the other four Teen Titans for help. Will Brother Blood achieve total victory at last or will Cyborg defy Blood's control.

Season 4 (2005)[]

Season four aired over a period of six months between January 17, 2005 and July 16, 2005. The story arc of the fourth season focuses on Raven's repressed emotions concerning her father, Trigon, and her destiny of destroying the Earth, in preparation for her father's rule. It is also the season where Slade returns, with a mark from Trigon that makes him invincible. The Teen Titans' final battle with Trigon, and Raven's renunciation of him as her father occur in the three-part season finale, "The End".

Control Freak escapes from jail, and manages to enter the world of television. The Titans give chase, but Control Freak's excessive knowledge of TV causes great hardship. To stop Control Freak the Titans place their trust in Beast Boy and his extensive knowledge of television that is on par with Control Freak's.
41 02 "The Quest" Katarou January 29, 2005[41]
After losing a fight of martial arts to the villain Katarou, Robin travels to Asia to find an unusually skilled and powerful master of much more skillfully advanced martial arts, known as Chu-Hui, to train him. In the meantime, the other Titans try to fill in the gap left by Robin in a rather unusual fashion.
42 03 "Birthmark" Dr. Light, Slade, & Trigon February 5, 2005[42]
Slade makes a miraculous return from his supposed "death" and - now sporting a wide array of incredibly strong fire-based abilities - appears before the Titans, and on the one day Raven hates more than any other, her own birthday. While they scramble to discover how he survived Terra's volcanic attack, and the mystery behind his new powers, he targets Raven for unknown reasons. Raven's unique abilities and powers then activate in an unusual manner in order to protect her friends: she temporarily stops time. But Slade isn't affected and a fight ensues between Raven, Robin and Slade. Slade tries to deliver a message to Raven as Robin learns that Raven holds a dark past, and is determined to keep her safe from any harm.
43 04 "Cyborg the Barbarian" Krall February 12, 2005[43]
Cyborg is accidentally thrown five thousand years into the past, and by coincidence comes to the aid of a young woman named Sarasim, whose tribe is under attack by a horde of gruesome creatures. While helping out the tribe, the battle wears out Cyborg's batteries, and there is no place for him to recharge.
44 05 "Employee of the Month" Newfu February 19, 2005[44]
Amidst a series of UFO raids on farms (with the targets being cows, to everyone's mystification), Beast Boy wants a moped but has no money to get one of his own. Robin won't buy him one and Cyborg won't build one, so the only way for him to get one is to get a job at Mega Meaty Meat, a restaurant which sells nothing but meat. Beast Boy, as a vegetarian, manages to overcome his distaste for meat in order to get the job, but his workplace proves to be more than just a restaurant.
45 06 "Troq" The Locrix May 9, 2005[45] February 10, 2007
Val-Yor, an alien from another planet enlists the help of the Titans to fight his enemies, a race of vicious-fighting machines called the Locrix. Val-Yor is strong, courageous and brave and the Titans immediately take to him, and join him on a mission to finish off the Locrix. However, he displays a noticeable hatred for Starfire and the rest of her Tamaranian kind, something that may alienate the Titans from this self-centered, prejudiced hero.
46 07 "The Prophecy" Slade & Trigon June 4, 2005[46]
Raven has been hiding a dark secret. As the Titans attempt to discover why Slade is after her, Raven finds herself unable to escape the prophecy of her birth, and fears that her dark secrets may endanger the team.
47 08 "Stranded" Shrieker the Space Monster June 11, 2005[47]
When being attacked by an alien in outer space, the Titans inadvertently split the T-Ship apart. Stranded and separated on several different areas of an alien planet, the Titans must now find each other again. Beast Boy displays horrible technological skills, even with simplified instructions from Cyborg, Raven is being followed around by small alien creatures; and Robin and Starfire must come to terms with their strong romantic feelings for each other.
48 09 "Overdrive" Billy Numerous & Adonis June 18, 2005[48]
Cyborg installs a new computer chip into his circuits, greatly increasing his strength, speed, and efficiency eight times over. But when a multiplying metahuman, Billy Numerous, appears on the scene, Cyborg may give up a lot to try and catch him.

Using an enchanted pie accidentally brought back to the Tower by Cyborg, Mother Mae-Eye manages to induce mind-control in all the Titans, mentally regressing them into obedient, sweet "children" who regard her as their mother. When Starfire is accidentally knocked out of the villain's mind-control during a mission against the H.I.V.E. Raven discovers that today is the day she has feared her whole life – the day she will end the world. She attempts to make the Titans' final day perfect. She makes them breakfast, they fight Plasmus, and she takes them on a walk. But when Slade comes to reclaim her, the other four Titans refuse to give her up without a fight.
51 12 "The End, Part II" Trigon, Slade, & Trigon's Minions July 9, 2005[51]
Raven has seemingly been destroyed - and so has Earth. Now the four remaining Titans, plus a deeply embittered Slade must stop Trigon and his minions. Their only defense is the mystical Ring of Azar, which is given to them by Slade, and the "farewell blessing" Raven's unusually strong willpower left the Titans to protect them from her father. While Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy fight Trigon and must square off with their nega-selves, Robin ends up working with Slade to find Raven, who he cannot accept is really gone, and soon learns Slade's true agenda.
52 13 "The End, Part III" Trigon, Slade, & Trigon's Minions July 16, 2005[52]
Robin rescues a younger seven-year-old version of Raven, who has been stripped of both her powers and her memories, but Robin still thinks she must hold the key to Trigon's defeat. Also down in Trigon's realm, Slade fights a demonic guard to regain his "flesh and blood". Meanwhile, the other Titans are fighting for their lives against evil doppelgangers of themselves. The originals find that they are not successful trying to fight their counterparts, so Starfire suggests that they switch opponents. After which, they re-join with Robin and a young Raven to face their strongest and most powerful enemy yet: Trigon the Terrible.

Season 5 (2005-2006)[]

Season five aired over a period of four months between September 24, 2005 and January 16, 2006. The story arc of the fifth season focuses on Beast Boy's history with the Doom Patrol and wanting to stop the Brotherhood of Evil, as well as him maturing. The story involves the Teen Titans fighting the Brotherhood of Evil.

These episodes were released on The Complete Fifth Season DVD on July 22, 2008.

The Doom Patrol are now saved and Beast Boy rejoins the team. They are prepared to stop the Brotherhood of Evil once and for all; but the Brotherhood also makes preparations for destroying the Titans and their allies. General Immortus and Madame Rouge also strain the Doom Patrol's hopes of victory. The Teen Titans assist and the Brotherhood base is destroyed. The Doom Patrol respects Beast Boy's decision to remain on the Titans and say goodbye. At a new base, the Brotherhood enlists several villains to destroy the Titans.

The Brotherhood of Evil begins targeting young superheroes across the globe. Meanwhile, Madame Rouge is after an honorary Titan, Hot Spot.

While the Teen Titans are fighting the Brotherhood of Evil, the Titans East come to Jump City to keep watch, but they have some trouble gaining acceptance among the public. Meanwhile, Control Freak escapes from prison and is ready to face off against the Teen Titans – but not against the Titans East.

While the team is on a mission in Russia, Starfire gets lost in a snowstorm and befriends a hero called Red Star, but Red Star harbours a dangerous secret.

The Teen Titans face off against a new and improved Dr. Light at a polar ice cap, and they discover two new heroes, Kole and Gnarrk. However, it turns out that Dr. Light plans to use Kole's crystal-generating abilities for his villainous purposes.

While the other Titans are fighting with the Brotherhood of Evil, Raven has to babysit three children named Melvin, Timmy, and Teether, who are just starting to develop their special abilities. However, Monsieur Mallah is also after the three young heroes.

The Titans East are called back to Steel City and the H.I.V.E. Five takes advantage of their absence to ransack Jump city unhindered. However a new hero called Kid Flash suddenly appears and hampers them at several occasions; at the same time, however, he develops a strong crush on Jinx and makes an effort to convince her to abandon the H.I.V.E. Five. When Madame Rouge arrives in the city to capture Kid Flash, Jinx finds herself questioning whether she really wants to join the Brotherhood of Evil.

This episode goes into the origin of the Teen Titans and explains how the five Titans first met.

After months of fighting the Brotherhood of Evil, the Teen Titans come back to Jump City. However, they must recruit some young heroes before the Brotherhood of Evil attacks them. The final battle has started.
64 12 "Titans Together" Brotherhood of Evil January 14, 2006[64]
Beast Boy, Pantha, Mas, Herald, and Jericho are the only Titans that have escaped the Brotherhood of Evil's plan. Now they must save the other Titans before it is too late. Kid Flash and Jinx join in to help in this final battle to defeat The Brain, Mallah, Immortus, and Rouge among other members of the Brotherhood like Mad Mod, Plasmus, Killer Moth, Cinderblock and Overload.
65 13 "Things Change" White Monster & Slade January 16, 2006[65] January 21, 2006
The Teen Titans return home and struggle to accept various changes that have taken place in the city during their absence. Beast Boy runs into a girl who appears to be Terra, but has no recollection of her past with the Titans or Beast Boy. After a grim confrontation with Slade, Beast Boy is forced to make one of the toughest choices he's ever made.
