The Birth of Captain Murphy is a short that speculates about the birth of the enigmatic rapping alter-ego of Flying Lotus, Captain Murphy. The short was created through the combined efforts of Captain Murphy (Flying Lotus), Lilfuchs (Adam Fuchs), and Williams Street.[1] The short aired during Adult Swim's Toonami programming block on August 23, 2014.
