Hunter x Hunter on Toonami

On April 1, 2016, during Toonami: Pre-Flight, it was announced that Hunter x Hunter is coming to Toonami, replacing Parasyte -the maxim- on April 16th at 1:00 AM. Reruns of Parasyte will also move to 3:00 AM, replacing Kill la Kill.

Adult Swim Producing New Seasons of FLCL

Adult Swim is developing these 12 new episodes of FLCL with animation studio Production I.G., with hopes that the original cast and The Pillows will be involved. The new seasons will air as part of the Toonami block, which previously aired the original 6 episodes.

Samurai Jack Returns!

From the Toonami Tumblr:

"Adult Swim is excited to announce that JACK IS BACK. Creator and executive producer Genndy Tartakovsky continues the epic story of Samurai Jack with a new season of episodes that will premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in 2016."

The new season is currently in production in Los Angeles at Cartoon Network Studios.

Weekly Double Dose of DBZ Kai

Adult Swim now airs an encore presentation of the prior week's DBZ Kai episode at 8:00 PM on Saturday nights. Unfortunately the reruns are not part of Toonami but new episodes of DBZ Kai will continue to air during the Toonami block on Saturday nights.

Check out the new Chris Devoe Toonami Mixtape

On December 30, 2015, New Year's Eve, DJ Chris Devoe and Toonami released a special mixtape titled Attics and Inventory pt. 2, featuring 26 tracks that have been used for Toonami packaging (bumpers, promos, etc.) in the past. The mixtape includes tracks from both the Adult Swim and Cartoon Network runs, including four tracks from Toonami's A Month of Miyazaki event in 2006.

Toonami: Pre-Flight

Toonami: Pre-Flight is the official weekly Toonami live-streaming show hosted by Toonami staff members Jason DeMarco and Gill Austin. A new episode of Pre-Flight streams on adultswim.com every Friday at 5:00 PM, the stream then repeats each day at 5 until the following Friday.
